New ferry connections to start with AutoPASS tag payment
Are you travelling with ferries in Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane or Hordaland? Then you should get an AutoPASS tag as soon as possible. From January 1st, AutoPASS tags will be used as payment method in these counties.

If you already have an AutoPASS tag, make sure this is connected to your agreement with AutoPASS for ferry on www.autopassferje.no. You will find information on this under «Vehicles» on My Page.
Hordaland:
In Hordaland all county connections which does not already use AutoPASS payment and pricing will start using this from January 1st 2020. This means that from this date, all ferry connections in Hordaland has AutoPASS payment and pricing.
From January 1st this applies to the following ferry connections:
- Leirvåg – Sløvåg
- Fedje – Sævrøy
- Langevåg – Buavåg
- Hatvik – Venjaneset
- Halhjem – Våge
- Skjersholmane – Ranavik
- Jektevik – Nordhuglo – Hodnanes
- Gjermundshamn – Varaldsøy – Årsnes
- Jondal – Tørvikbygd
- Klokkarvik – Lerøy – Bjelkarøy – Hjellestad
- “Fjelbergsambandet“
- Kvanndal – Utne
- Kinsarvik – Utne
- Skånevik – Matre – Utåker
Sogn og Fjordane:
In Sogn og Fjordane there will be AutoPASS tag payment on the state road ferry connections from January 1st 2020.
This applies to the following ferry connections:
- Vangsnes-Hella-Dragsvik
- Mannheller-Fodnes
On these connections AutoPASS pricing is already in use.
Møre og Romsdal:
In Møre og Romsdal there will be AutoPASS tag payment and pricing on the state road ferry connections from January 1st 2020.
This applies to the following ferry connections:
- Volda-Folkestad
- Solevåg-Festøy
There is a current political process regarding the county road ferries in Møre og Romsdal, so it is not settled whether these connecton will be using AutoPASS tag payment and pricing.
Do you have an agreement with AutoPASS for ferry?
Please note that it is your responsibility to have sufficient balance on your ferry agreement. If you do not have this, you will not receive your discount. This also applies even if you have not received an AutoPASS ferry invoice. For customers with e-invoice (eFaktura), this will come with a due date. This is only indicative and can be changed according to usage. The due date has been entered because it is required by the bank on e-invoices. If you travel a lot, we recommend that you pay the invoice as soon as you receive it, and do not wait until the due date. There must always be a positive balance on the agreement.
