For 2025, Norwegian authorities have set the following prepayment amounts:
- Prepayment rate group 1 (vehicles from 0 – 8 meters): NOK 2,100 (NOK 2,200 from 01.01.26)
- Prepayment rate group 2 (vehicles from 8.01 – 17.50 meters): NOK 10,300 (NOK 10,600 from 01.01.26)
- Prepayment rate group 3 (vehicles over 17.51 meters): NOK 19,400 (NOK 20,100 from 01.01.26)
From 1 October 2021, VAT has increased from 6% to the ordinary 12%, as ruled by the Norwegian Parliament.
On all national road connections and most county road connections, the AutoPASS Regulation for Ferry Rates has been implemented.
